What coronavirus protection measures are in force in Croatia?
Due to the effective protection measures in Croatia, the situation in our destinations is fully under control.
All information about protection measures and news regarding the Covid-19 epidemic in Croatia is available at https://vlada.gov.hr/search-results/14960?pojam=covid+19
What coronavirus protection measures have you taken in your hotels and campsites?
We always take special care of hygiene and cleanliness in our hotels and campsites. At the first sign of the epidemic in neighbouring countries, we have introduced a series of disease prevention procedures, making sure to maintain a high level of comfort and quality of service. Since then, we have developed a system to ensure the safety of our guests and employees in accordance with the latest hygiene and cleanliness guidelines.
The safety system for guests and employees includes, among other things:
- continuous education of our employees in order to inform them about potential dangers and to carry out appropriate preventive procedures
- sanitation standard operating procedures
- availability of surface and hand disinfectants, both to staff and guests
- additional safety measures in the preparation and serving of food, as well as cleaning and disinfection of accommodation units
As soon as we reopen our hotels and campsites, we will continue to apply these measures, adapting them to the instructions of the competent authorities, always taking into account the safety of our guests and employees.
How can I use the points that I have collected through my Valamar Plus Club membership?
We are aware that all Valamar Plus Club members care about keeping their current options and benefits, which is why we have made certain important changes in order to allow greater flexibility:
- We will pause the expiration of all points that are due to expire before 30 June 2021. You can redeem your points for all bookings made until 30 June 2021 and for all stays until 31 December 2021.
Even if your user account has been inactive for over 24 months, the points you have collected will remain active. This means that you will be able to redeem them with your next booking. - Loyalty status validity extension
The loyalty status that you earned in 2019 or 2020 will be extended until January of 2022. You can book your next stay, while keeping your status and the benefits thereof.
We have thereby extended the period in which you can spend your points and use the benefits of the Valamar Plus Club programme.
