The global coronavirus pandemic represents a great challenge for the entire world. However, we are continuing to do everything we can to make sure you enjoy a safe and carefree stay, and we look forward to welcoming you in all our destinations along the Adriatic coast.
All our employees in hotels, resorts and camping resorts have been vaccinated against COVID-19 or are regularly tested, so you can be sure of a safe welcome. We are offering the organisation of RAT (rapid antigen) and PCR testing and health care in your hotel, resort or camping resort.
The safety and health of all our guests, employees, partners and fellow citizens remain our priority. All our camping resorts have implemented the V-Health&Safety programme of health measures, safety and cleanliness.

TRAVEL INFORMATION
For easier and faster border crossing, we recommend submitting your data in advance via the website entercroatia.mup.hr. In this way you can avoid additional delays at the border crossing as the border police will have your data in the system. Transit through Austria, Italy and Slovenia towards Croatia is proceeding as normal.
Travellers who have registered on entercroatia.mup.hr. website will receive on their email address a confirmation of receipt and all the necessary information related to the instructions and recommendations of the Croatian Institute of Public Health.
Travellers who have not submitted their data in advance via this application will be able to do so at the border crossing when entering the Republic of Croatia.
On the Re-open EU European Commission website you can check, in real time, information on travel within the European Union, the situation at the borders, and all available transport and tourism services in EU member states.
Entering the Republic of Croatia
All COVID restrictions on entering the country have been lifted and it is no longer necessary to present an EU Digital COVID Certificate. Entry conditions are the same for all persons, same as they were before the coronavirus pandemic.

GERMANY

When re-entering the country, guests returning from Croatia must present an EU digital COVID certificate. It should contain a negative PCR test or RAT (rapid antigen) test not older than 48 hours, a certificate of recovery within the past 3 months, or a certificate of COVID-19 vaccination. Children under the age of 12 are exempt from such obligations.
AUSTRIA

ITALY
Latest measures from: 4/5/2022
When re-entering the country, guests returning from Croatia must present an EU digital COVID certificate. It should contain a negative PCR test (not older than 72 hours) OR A negative RAT (antigen) test (not older than 48 hours) or a certificate of recovery from COVID-19 within the past 6 months or a certificate of COVID-19 vaccination. Without these certificates, the person must go into mandatory self-isolation for 5 days. After 5 days, an additional test (PCR or antigen) is mandatory. If the result is negative, the person is free to come out of self-isolation. Children under the age of 6 do not need to be tested. Children from 6 to 18 years of age must present a negative COVID test. Children under the age of 18 are exempt from isolation if accompanied by adults who have a COVID-19 recovery certificate or a vaccination certificate.
Guests travelling to Croatian destinations less than 60 km from their place of residence for periods of less than 48 hours do not have to present a negative test when returning to the country.

USA

When re-entering the country, guests returning from Croatia must provide a negative PCR or RAT (antigen) test not older than 24 hours. People who have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate must provide a negative PCR or RAT (antigen) test not older than 72 hours upon re-entering the country. People who have recovered from COVID-19 within the past 3 months are exempt from the obligation to provide a negative COVID-19 test. Children under the age of 2 are exempt from testing.
V-CARE GUARANTEE
The V-care guarantee is part of the V-Health&Safety programme providing all necessary health care services during your stay (also in the case of COVID-19).

VALAMAR EMPLOYEES VACCINATED OR REGULARLY TESTED
All our employees in hotels, resorts and camping resorts have a COVID-19 vaccination or recovery certificate or are regularly tested.
With every booking* made directly through valamar.com or the Valamar reservation centre, each guest receives a V-Care guarantee included in the price of the reservation. The V-Care guarantee applies to all persons included in the reservation and is valid from the moment of check-in at any one of our hotels, resorts or camping resorts.
*It also applies to existing reservations, regardless of when they were made.
Important! To be eligible for free health care services in public health facilities during the stay in our destinations, the guest must have a valid European Health Insurance Card.
Organisation of PCR and RAT (antigen) tests
- Organisation of RAT (rapid antigen) testing in your hotel, resort or camping resort. The price of the test is €10 - €20 per person.*
- Organisation of PCR testing in your hotel, resort or camping resort. The price of the test is from €50 - €120 per person.*
- It is possible to book a test in advance through our Valamar reservation centre (before your arrival, or during your stay) by registering at the reception or by contacting our V-Health&Safety Manager by 12:00 (noon) on the working day before the desired test date - except on Sundays, when tests are not performed. For a test on Monday, you need to make an appointment on Saturday by 12:00 (noon).
- Test results will be delivered to your email address within 24 hours for the PCR and 2 hours for the RAT (rapid antigen) test. Due to increasing demand, you may experience delays in the delivery of results.
- Test results can be in the Croatian or English language. If you are travelling by plane, a negative test result in the English language is required when boarding the plane.
* The cost of testing depends on the destination.

BOOKING POLICY

- In 2022, you can cancel your reservation free of charge up to 7 days before your arrival date in accordance with the standard rate
- There is a €50 predefined deposit for pitches (or €100 for premium and luxury pitches) which is charged within 7 days of booking. In case of cancellation of reservations, the amount transferred as a deposit will not be refunded.
We kindly ask our guests who have booked their stay via online travel agencies (or other partners that offer our accommodation properties and services) to contact them for information about options to change their arrival date or cancel their booking.
